Software Architecture refers to the organization of different components of a software system. The aim of developing a software architecture as part of the software development process is to enable the construction of dependable, usable and maintainable software that is designed to accommodate change. The course will introduce into the foundations of software architecture and address topics of architecture modeling and assessment. During the second half the course will focus of software architectures for embedded and cyber-physical systems.

Participants

Bachelor degree in Computer Science level knowledge of Software Engineering, Discrete Mathematics, Programming and Theory of Computation.

Contents / Syllabus

 The course will enable participants to assess existing and to develop new architectures of complex software systems. It will equip them with essential knowledge when participating in, or when managing software development projects.

Course taught entirely in English.

Final examination - oral. A grade bonus can be earned during the tutorials.
